
SDT recently held a very informative Mass Notification Education Seminar at Citizens Bank Park (Home of the 2009 National League Champion Phillies) on December 15, 2009. Ken Spressart presided over the seminar.
Seminar Attendees included Hospitals, Retirement Communities, School Districts, Real Estate Properties and Investment Companies, the Postal Service, General Services Administration, Engineering Firms and Township Code Officials.
Mike Browning, GE Security National Fire Sales Training Manager, educated the Attendees on the historical perspective, intelligibility and audibility, and the implementation of a Mass Notification System which notifies people in a building, on a campus or a geographic area about an event.
Steve Mogul, Vice President of Sales with REACT Systems, Inc., presented how REACT alerts use multiple channels for Mass Notification via desktops, public displays, telephones, text messaging and e-mail.
Joe Justino, GE Security Northeast Regional Director of Life Safety & Communications, displayed the GE 3-Sixty Solution to your Mass Notification needs.
Once the Seminar concluded, all were treated to a Guided Tour of the Phillies’ Stadium.
