jerome-paley-president-sdtincJerry's broad business experience has positioned SDT for success. Since establishing Guardian Security Systems in 1971, Jerry has been closely involved with electronic systems and the construction industry.

In 1976, with growth in mind, Jerry closed Guardian and formed Security and Fire Equipment Corporation (SAFECOR). SAFECOR successfully tapped into the Closed Circuit Television System market in Atlantic City, NJ with large CCTV system installations in several casinos, including expansion and maintenance contracts. Jerry also helped specify and install the Card Access System for the Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport in Arlington, Virginia. SAFECOR also provided Fire Alarm and Access Control Systems from their offices in Bensalem, PA and Woburn, MA. In 1987, JWP, Inc. expressed an interest in the business areas which SAFECOR had developed, and shortly thereafter Jerry sold SAFECOR to JWP.

For a period of time Jerry was personally involved with the Philadelphia Museum of Art Corporation as their exclusive Security Consultant/Engineer. Through Jerry's many years of involvement with the Philadelphia Museum of Art's security systems and his working relationship with John Erickson, Head of Security, he was privy to intimate knowledge of the museum, its historic content and its history, all of which allowed him a unique insight of what it is to perform work in this structure.

Jerry is the original founder, president and owner of Security and Data Technologies, Inc., located in Newtown, PA (Bucks County) which has been in business since 1988. Jerry's experience and knowledge have vastly contributed to the company's tremendous growth both in size and sales over the past several years. SDT is presently the largest independently owned fire alarm distributor in the Philadelphia area. Jerry has been in the Fire Alarm, Security and Access, CCTV and Nurse Call business for over 38 years!
